Mobile Banking allows customers with personal accounts and Online Banking to access your accounts, view balances and transaction history, initiate transactions, and pay bills anytime, from anywhere. Mobile Banking supports all account types including checking, CD’s, Money Markets, and more!

 

How do I get set up on Mobile Banking?

Each Mobile Banking customer must first be signed up for Online Banking.

  • You can sign up for Online Banking on our website (be sure to have your account info ready and an email address already on file with us).
  • You can sign up for Online Banking by stopping in and speaking with a Customer Service Representative.

Once you have signed up for Online Banking.

1. Visit the Mobile tab in your Online Banking account. Enter your phone number and other information.
2. Visit the appropriate App Store for your phone operating system. Search Charter Bank Eau Claire, and download the app.
3. Your user name and password for the Mobile app is the same as the one used to log in to your Online Banking account.

What if my phone is lost or stolen? 

Report it immediately to mobile service provider.

What if my phone number changes?

Simply visit the Mobile tab within Online Banking to update your phone number.

Can I add more than one phone for text alerts?

Yes, however we would suggest that you only add phones from people that are attached to the account. Text alerts can be set up via your Online Banking account to notify you of transfers, low balances, etc.

What are the charges? 

Your mobile service provider may charge you data costs for accessing Online Banking, however the app is free in the App Store. Please check with your carrier as message and data rates may apply.

What can I do with Charter Bank Mobile Banking? 

You can transfer money from one Charter Bank account to another and view your transactions. If you are signed up for our bill pay product you can also pay your bills via mobile banking to payees’ you have already set up in the Online Banking system. Any account alerts you set up for your accounts will also be visible on your mobile banking app.

Is this service secure?

Charter Bank uses the same security as our Online Banking. We are committed to keeping your online financial transactions both secure and confidential. Charter Bank uses the latest and strongest cryptographic standards such as SSL (Secure Socket Layer ‘128-bit encryption’) to protect the information transferred over the Internet. Once you access our mobile banking using your User ID and Password, a secure channel will be established between your mobile device and the Bank. As always, it is important that you keep your ID and password secure.

How do I change my username and password for Mobile Banking?

The username and password is the same for Online Banking and Mobile Banking. If you receive notification on your mobile device that it is time to change your password, you will need to log in to your Online Banking account from your computer to change or update your username and password. The username and password used for your Online Banking account will be the same as what will be used to log in to your account on the mobile app.

How do I access your mobile site? 

From your mobile phone, visit the app store on your phone and download the Charter Bank app. Simply search for Charter Bank Eau Claire to find the correct app to download.

Is my personal information stored on my phone?

No, Mobile banking does not save any files with personal or financial information on your mobile device.

What happens if I lose service while performing a transfer or payment? 

Call 715.832.4254 during business hours to confirm that the transfer has gone through.

I’m not enrolled in Online Banking. Can I still use Mobile Banking? 

You must be a current customer of Charter Bank and also have an Online Banking account prior to using Mobile Banking.

What are the cutoff times for transfers?

Cutoff time is at 6 pm CST for all transfers.

What if I get locked out of mobile banking?

Call 715.832.4254 during normal business hours to have your account reset.
